Wow... my response to the Fortnine body armour video really upsets some readers
Last week I told you about the latest FortNine video appeared on April Fool's Day entitled "Why I stopped wearing motorcycle body armour". I recommended you go watch the video but used last Sunday’s 11’s (Apr 7, #418) to give you my thoughts on what he said. I then put those thoughts up as a stand-alone post on Monday on FB and Ko-Fi (the link’s in the list as usual). Seven days on, that post is STILL getting comments.
According to the stats this morning, it's reached over 64,000 accounts, it's been liked 152 times and shared 20 times.
It's also been commented on 193 times, and I've done my best to respond to the vast majority of the comments. I don't mind putting in the effort - after all, people have written something in response to my post so I think it's only polite that I put a bit of time into answering them. My experience of other channels is that responses to comments are something relatively other content creators bother to put time into, so I hope it does build a bit of community spirit.
However, I do wish people would read what I actually wrote and not what they think I said, and I’ll be commenting on THAT particular issue this morning.

ON-ROAD RIDER COACHING - courses aimed the individual
I’m back with my unique brand of ON-ROAD training that focuses on delivering genuine SURVIVAL SKILLS, not just technical competence or the ability to quote Motorcycle Roadcraft from cover to cover. Choose between courses that focus on delivering confidence or fixing riding issues, or gaining the necessary knowledge and skills to cope with anything from twisty rural roads to city centre commuting - you won’t get a ‘one-size-fits-all’ course with Survival Skills, but a session which is tailored to YOUR wants and needs rather than a standard test.
You can choose between ONE, TWO, THREE and FOUR DAY courses or pick a short TWO-HOUR SESSION on specific topics. Choose convenient start points around London’s M25, or if you’re more central, I have a challenging route leading out of NW London from the North Circular road at Brent Cross. So if you want to take your riding above and beyond the regular advanced standard, drop me a line.
